A new cooperative building experience is preparing for its debut at Steam Next Fest as Salvation Denied launches a playable demo for PC players today. Developed by Firevolt Studios and published by Digital Vortex Entertainment, the upcoming construction simulator blends teamwork, physics-based gameplay, and survival challenges into a chaotic multiplayer experience for up to four players.
In Salvation Denied, players take on the role of construction robots hired by a mysterious and fanatical employer. Working on a hostile alien world filled with dangerous environmental hazards, teams are tasked with constructing massive experimental structures while trying to survive whatever challenges the planet throws at them.

The newly released demo introduces players to the game’s first mission, “Signal to Orbit.” The objective is simple on paper: build a base and position an antenna so it can establish a signal. How players accomplish that goal is entirely up to them. Whether building towering structures or improvised supports, every design must contend with both the environment and the game’s detailed physics system. Meteor showers can quickly turn a successful project into a pile of rubble if teams aren’t careful.

Communication plays a major role in the experience thanks to proximity voice chat. Players must coordinate while climbing unstable structures, tossing building materials into place, and reinforcing weak points before everything comes crashing down. Every component has weight and physical properties, making careful planning just as important as quick reactions.

To help get the job done, players can make use of specialized vehicles and tools. The demo features the Fatboy, a versatile machine capable of bulldozing obstacles and assisting with construction projects. The full release will expand the available equipment with additional tools such as gravity guns and jetpacks, giving players even more creative ways to tackle challenges.

Beyond standard objectives, Salvation Denied will also feature unique challenge modes that introduce unusual restrictions and building requirements. Players may find themselves working with random blocks, unconventional shapes, or limited resources, forcing them to adapt their strategies and think creatively under pressure.

The Salvation Denied demo is available now on Steam for PC. The full game is scheduled to launch later this year on PC, with versions planned for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2027.
Firevolt Studios and Digital Vortex Entertainment are expected to reveal additional content and updates leading into Steam Next Fest.
