NC has officially revealed Like or Die, formerly known as Project Bonfire, during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. The upcoming team-based survival shooter is currently in development and puts players into the role of streamers competing in matches broadcast across the cosmic streaming platform known as Quaya Stream.
Teams will need to work together to gather resources, survive waves of threats, and ultimately eliminate their opponents. What sets Like or Die apart is its Block Action system, which allows players to construct structures and reshape the battlefield during a match.

The system gives teams the ability to alter the environment on the fly, creating defensive positions, opening new tactical opportunities, or disrupting an opposing team’s plans. Players can use their collected blocks to shift the momentum of a battle and eventually destroy the enemy’s Nexus.

The combination of team-based survival gameplay, resource gathering, construction, and real-time environmental manipulation is designed to make each match unpredictable. Rather than simply fighting across a static arena, teams can actively transform the battlefield as the action unfolds.

NC has not yet announced a release date for Like or Die, but the company says additional details will be revealed at a later date. The game is already available to wishlist on Steam.
