Curve Games and Coyote House Games have announced Dumpster Gang, a chaotic co-op sandbox game that lets players embrace their inner trash panda. Revealed as part of the Xbox Gamescom showcase, the game is scheduled to launch in December 2026 for PC via Steam and Xbox on PC, with a day-one release on Xbox PC Game Pass.
Players take on the role of mischievous raccoons and can team up with up to three friends to cause as much harmless trouble as possible. The goal is simple: scavenge dumpsters, steal junk, raid snack supplies, and commit plenty of tiny raccoon crimes while avoiding the ever-present threat of the evil Exterminator.
There’s more to a successful raid than simply grabbing everything in sight. Players will need to cooperate to carry heavy loot, solve environmental puzzles, rescue captured teammates, and navigate traps placed throughout the world. The sandbox design means even simple plans can quickly turn into chaotic chain reactions.
When the day’s criminal activities are over, the gang can return to its hideout and put its stolen treasures to good use. Players can customize their raccoons, decorate their hideout with the bizarre items they’ve collected, and equip a selection of adorable hats that provide unique abilities for future missions.
The Exterminator ensures that players can’t simply run wild without consequences. Make enough of a mess and he’ll come looking for the gang, forcing players to outsmart traps, escape capture, and rescue friends before the entire crew gets caught.
Dumpster Gang is designed to be easy to pick up while relying on its physics and sandbox systems to create unpredictable situations. Every outing can result in different mishaps, discoveries, and ridiculous stories as players experiment with the environment and work together.
For Coyote House Games, the project began with the simple idea of a group of raccoons robbing houses together. The studio’s debut aims to turn that premise into a full co-op experience built around climbing, stealing, eating trash, making messes, and generally behaving like the world’s most adorable criminals.
Dumpster Gang launches December 2026 on PC via Steam and Xbox on PC, with the game also arriving day one on Xbox PC Game Pass.
