Developer Resonance Interactive has announced that its upcoming real-time tactical adventure BloomKeeper will launch on Steam on September 16, 2026. The announcement arrives alongside a brand-new trailer and confirmation that players can already try the game ahead of release through a demo currently available on the platform.
In BloomKeeper, players take on the role of the Guardian, guiding a fragile colony of small creatures known as the Pouics across the devastated island of Hedera. Once consumed by fire, the island is slowly beginning to recover, and each step the colony takes helps revive the land beneath them. As the world begins to bloom again, players must protect the Pouics from environmental hazards, spreading corruption, and the persistent threat of the ashes reclaiming areas that have already been restored.

The game blends exploration, colony management, and real-time tactical decision-making as players navigate a constantly changing environment. The Pouics are essential to progress but are easily scattered and vulnerable to the many dangers found across the island, including cliffs, lakes, and corrupted zones. Players must guide them carefully, keeping the colony together while advancing toward the source of the blight that continues to threaten Hedera.

A key challenge comes from the dynamic spread of scorched zones, which continually expand across each level. This creates constant pressure for players to decide whether to push forward quickly with a larger colony or secure areas more cautiously to prevent the ashes from reclaiming what has already been brought back to life. Losing members of the colony can also have lasting consequences, as corrupted Pouics transform into dangerous Malpouics that accelerate the spread of devastation and make the journey even more difficult.

BloomKeeper can be played solo or in cooperative multiplayer with up to four players, offering different ways to experience the journey across Hedera. Because the spread of corruption evolves based on player progress, no two runs unfold exactly the same way, encouraging players to adapt their routes, strategies, and restoration efforts as the island slowly changes over time.
