Zugalu Entertainment has announced Bay 12: Mech Repair, a first-person sci-fi simulation game coming to Windows PC via Steam in 2028. Players step into the role of an elite mechanic tasked with getting damaged mechs back into action.

Each machine arrives with its own problems. Players can use an AR system to inspect subsystems, check core temperature and limb integrity, and scan for hidden faults before planning repairs. Then it’s time to get hands-on: remove and rebuild damaged systems, weld, grind, rivet, and drill.

The work also includes servicing hydraulics, reactors, and electrofiber actuators. Mechanics can strip rust, repaint the machines, and stencil on unit markings before signing off on each work order.

Running the bay means managing resources as well as repairs. Players can salvage scrap to craft components, keep parts in stock, and earn credits from completed jobs. Those credits can fund upgraded tools and equipment for taking on larger jobs.

Bay 12: Mech Repair is planned to launch in 2028 for Windows PC via Steam.
