Indie game studio Quantum Quirks is making waves with the announcement of their ambitious new survival game, Zeverland. Set to release on Steam for Windows PC in 2025, Zeverland reimagines the post-apocalyptic genre, immersing players in a world reshaped by a mysterious meteor impact. Get ready to face dynamic challenges, unleash your creativity, and form lasting alliances—or rivalries—in this groundbreaking survival adventure.

    A World Transformed
In the universe of Zeverland, humanity’s fate takes a drastic turn when a meteor shower blankets the Earth in red spores, triggering a wave of infections that alters 90% of all life—plants, animals, and even humans. Only a small percentage of the population proves immune, left to survive in a fractured and hostile world. The infection isn’t just a threat—it’s a game-changer. Players who succumb to the spores don’t face the end; instead, they transform into “Zeds,” offering a fresh perspective and unique abilities to keep the journey going.

    Dynamic Survival Gameplay
At its core, Zeverland is all about adaptation. Featuring 30-day gameplay phases with changing seasons and weather, the game keeps players on their toes with dynamic challenges and evolving objectives. Whether you’re restoring landmarks in group quests, managing infection spread, or crafting tools to aid in survival, every decision matters.

With a sprawling 24×24 km map packed with diverse biomes and infection levels, Zeverland offers endless exploration opportunities. Choose your starting location strategically, as it determines your initial equipment, supplies, and approach to survival.

    Craft, Collaborate, and Conquer
One of Zeverland’s standout features is its innovative crafting system. Virtually any two items can be combined to create unique and sometimes unexpected tools, fostering creativity and experimentation. Collaboration is encouraged but not enforced—players can team up with friends, recruit survivors, or venture solo into the apocalypse.

    Key Features of Zeverland:

    • Live the Zed Lifestyle: Becoming infected doesn’t mean game over; it unlocks new abilities and a whole new way to play as a Zed.
    • Craft and Combine Anything: Mix and match items to create a variety of strange and useful tools.
    • Explore a Massive World: Start anywhere on the 24×24 km map, with diverse infection levels and unique challenges in each biome.
    • Massively Multiplayer Fun: Engage with friends, strangers, and NPCs to form teams, recruit survivors, and build thriving settlements.
    • Apocalypse in Style: Drive fully customizable vehicles, including RVs that can be turned into mobile fortresses.

    Join the Adventure Early
Excited to step into the world of Zeverland? While the full game launches in 2025, you can get involved now by joining the official Zeverland Discord Server. Connect with fellow survivors, share strategies, and stay updated on the latest news from Quantum Quirks. Whether you’re ready to slay zombies or embrace life as a Zed, Zeverland promises an unforgettable survival experience.
