Publisher tinyBuild used Summer Game Fest 2026 to unveil Last Harbor, a new open-world multiplayer survival game that swaps traditional zombie survival settings for life on the open water. Scheduled to launch on PC in 2027, the game challenges players to survive in a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest where the undead have overrun the land, forcing humanity’s remaining survivors to seek refuge at sea.

In Last Harbor, your boat serves as more than just transportation—it’s your home, fortress, and lifeline. Players can customize and upgrade their vessels while managing resources, crafting supplies, fishing for food, and building a floating base capable of supporting an entire crew of survivors.

While the ocean offers a temporary escape from the zombie-infested mainland, supplies eventually run low. Players will need to venture ashore to scavenge for fuel, medicine, weapons, and other critical resources. These expeditions come with significant risks, as massive zombie hordes roam the landscape and rival survivors may prove just as dangerous.

The game features tactical first-person shooter combat where every gunshot can have consequences. Engaging hostile players may attract nearby undead, creating unpredictable encounters that force players to carefully weigh every decision.
