If you’ve ever spent more time tweaking gear, planning builds, and studying crafting systems than actually fighting enemies in an RPG, Teamcrafter is built around that exact obsession. A demo is now available, giving players a chance to experience the crafting-focused roguelite from Teamcraft Studios and publisher Mystic Forge.
Inspired by the deep crafting and build systems found in games such as Path of Exile, Last Epoch, and Mortal Online 2, Teamcrafter puts crafting and character customization at the center of the experience. Instead of playing as the heroes charging into battle, you take on the role of the Craftist, responsible for preparing a party of Adventurers for whatever comes next.

Players explore pixel-art biomes, gather resources, and use their materials to create weapons, armor, and equipment. Gear can then be combined with talents and passive effects to experiment with different builds before sending the Adventurers into automated, turn-based battles. The results give players a chance to see whether their carefully crafted strategies actually work.

Crafting isn’t treated as a side activity in Teamcrafter. It’s the foundation of the game, with experimentation and build optimization driving progression and each new run.

That focus comes from a team with plenty of experience catering to players who enjoy digging deep into crafting systems. Teamcraft Studios is also behind FFXIV Teamcraft, a community tool designed to help Final Fantasy XIV players plan recipes, organize materials, and optimize their crafting.

According to the studio, FFXIV Teamcraft attracts around 300,000 unique visitors during an average month, with that number increasing to between 2 and 3 million around major Final Fantasy XIV patches and expansions. Its community has also created more than 8 million crafting lists covering over 40 million crafted items and pieces of gear.

Teamcrafter takes that same passion for planning, gathering, crafting, and theorycrafting and turns it into the core gameplay loop, making the pursuit of the perfect build the adventure itself.
