The Triple-i Initiative is returning on October 8 for a surprise showcase featuring 40 games in 45 minutes.
Organized by Evil Empire, the event will continue the showcase’s familiar format: back-to-back trailers with no hosts, advertisements, or sponsors breaking up the announcements. Viewers can expect world premieres, gameplay reveals, release dates, and updates from a wide range of studios.
The show will stream on YouTube, Twitch, Steam, bilibili, niconico, and through participating content creators.
Eight World Premieres Are Planned
This surprise edition of the Triple-i Initiative will include eight exclusive world premieres from studios including Team17, Amanita Design, Strange Scaffold, and Norsfell.
Previously released games will also receive new reveals. Fans can expect updates related to Dave the Diver, Brotato, Chained Together, Risk of Rain 2, and Windrose.
Several upcoming titles are also set to appear, including Hela: of Mice and Magic, Militsioner, the next Among Us game, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, Haunted Paws, and Outward 2.
Another Fast-Paced Indie Showcase
The Triple-i Initiative first debuted in 2024 and has become one of the larger indie-focused showcases on the calendar. Earlier events have featured announcements for games such as Slay the Spire 2, Don’t Starve Elsewhere, and Graveyard Keeper 2, along with DLC reveals for Katana ZERO, Vampire Survivors, and Barotrauma.
The showcase is run as a not-for-profit initiative by developers, with the goal of putting a curated selection of games in front of a global audience without the usual presentation filler.
