Iceberg Interactive and solo developer Kate, working under the name Galactic Ghosty, have announced that Allogloomwill launch on Steam on October 13, 2026.
The hand-painted point-and-click mystery takes players to Gruesome Grove, a place that looks whimsical at first glance but has clearly been hiding something much darker. Its residents have disappeared, strange relics are turning up around town, and Nora is left to figure out what happened before there is no one left to save.

Rather than leaning on jump scares or action-heavy horror, Allogloom appears to build its tension through atmosphere, character interactions, and the unsettling feeling that something is wrong beneath its charming presentation.

A Mystery Spread Across Six Worlds
The story unfolds over eight chapters and sends Nora beyond Gruesome Grove into six interconnected worlds. Players will collect and combine items, speak with unusual characters and monsters, examine clues, and solve puzzles tied directly to the town’s history.

That focus on lore-driven puzzles should be especially appealing to players who enjoy taking their time with a mystery instead of simply hunting for the next objective marker. The game’s puzzles are designed around observation and curiosity, with the characters, locations, and relics all feeding into the larger story.

The tone may also feel familiar to fans of Strange Horticulture, another Iceberg Interactive title. Both games pair a cozy visual identity with a growing sense of unease, although Allogloom brings a more traditional point-and-click structure to its strange little town.

A Hand-Painted World With an Unsettling Side
Every background, character, and creature in Allogloom has been created by Kate, giving the game a distinctly handmade look. The art style carries much of the game’s personality: Gruesome Grove feels inviting enough to explore, but its odd residents, shadowy corners, and growing sense of dread suggest that Nora has wandered into something far more dangerous than a quiet village mystery.

Players will need to investigate the monsters connected to the disappearances, negotiate with characters, and uncover the forgotten history of the town. The game promises dark humor and peculiar encounters alongside its more macabre moments, which should help keep its horror from becoming one-note.

A free demo is currently available on Steam for anyone who wants an early look at Gruesome Grove before launch. Allogloom arrives on PC via Steam on October 13, 2026.
