The POSTAL Dude is stepping out of video games and onto the printed page. Running With Scissors, creators of the infamous POSTAL franchise, has partnered with Roditeli Productions to announce the first-ever POSTAL comic book series, with an official 19-page digital preview now available ahead of the series’ planned release in late 2026.

With tens of millions of copies sold across the POSTAL game franchise, the series has grown well beyond its original video game roots through sequels, spin-offs, a documentary, and a feature film. Now, the franchise’s infamous protagonist is getting his own comic book adventure.

The story follows the POSTAL Dude through what initially appears to be a completely ordinary Monday. Naturally, things don’t stay ordinary for long. His fragile sense of peace is shattered after encountering an advertisement for a

sinister dating app, sending him spiraling into a bizarre world of conspiracy theories, paranoia, and the kind of chaos POSTALfans have come to expect.

The comic is being produced and co-written by Kevin Roditeli, known for his work on SWAT Kats, X-O Manowar, and Bad Omens: Concrete Jungle, alongside co-writer Rob Cannon of Freak Snow and Anime Animay. Artist Alex Riegel, whose work includes Image Comics’ Standstill and Scumbag, provides the artwork, with colors by Moreno Dinisio, whose credits include Deadpool/Batman, Avengers, and Power Rangers.

The creative team also includes Serge LaPointe, known for his work on Fantastic Four, Assassin’s Creed, WWE, and Batman Begins, handling lettering and design, while Chris Stevens, known for his work on Marvel artbooks, serves as editor.

The series will also feature a lineup of guest cover artists from across the comics and entertainment industries. The announced artists include Jim Mahfood, known for Fortnite, Tank Girl, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Post Malone’s Big Rig; John McCrea, creator of DC Comics’ Hitman and a veteran of 2000AD, Batman, and Deadpool; Daniel Hillyard, known for Plastic, Plush, Vinyl, and I Was A Fashion School Serial Killer; Vlad Legostaev, whose cover work includes Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Exquisite Corpses; Frederik Hornung of Boom Studios’ Hello Darkness; and Drew Moss, whose credits include ThunderCats and Disney’s Gargoyles. Additional cover artists will be announced at a later date.

“As a diehard POSTAL fan for over 20 years, I’ve been ecstatic about putting together a POSTAL comic,” said Kevin Roditeli, CEO and creative director at Roditeli Productions. “We’ve gathered some absolutely top-notch talent for this and worked closely with Running With Scissors’ Vince Desi and Mike J to pack as much raw POSTAL energy as possible into every panel.”

Fans won’t have to wait long to help bring the project to life. The POSTAL FIRST EVER COMIC BOOK Kickstarter campaign launches Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with fans able to follow the campaign page ahead of launch to receive an alert when crowdfunding begins.

The campaign has a funding goal of $100,000 USD, which will help cover art production, printing, manufacturing, and backer rewards. Among the rewards will be a Kickstarter-exclusive hardcover edition featuring premium printing and exclusive content that won’t be released outside of the crowdfunding campaign. Backers will also have the opportunity to grab new POSTAL merchandise, including T-shirts, pins, and art prints.

For longtime fans of the franchise, the comic represents another opportunity to experience the chaotic world of POSTALin a completely different medium. With an experienced comics team behind it and a story that sounds appropriately unhinged, the POSTAL Dude’s first trip into comics looks ready to deliver plenty of the series’ trademark irreverence.
