Independent developer Nementic Games and publisher Curve Games have announced that Cloudscrapers will launch on Steam on September 14, 2026. The relaxing strategy adventure invites players to construct towering structures high above the clouds while carefully balancing resources, unlocking new technologies, and uncovering the secrets of a beautifully illustrated fantasy world. Players eager to get started can also download and play a free demo ahead of launch.
Cloudscrapers combines minimalist strategy mechanics with a laid-back pace, offering an experience focused on thoughtful planning rather than fast-paced action. As players expand their towers into the skies, they’ll gather resources, overcome environmental challenges, and gradually unlock permanent upgrades and new construction tools that allow them to reach even greater heights. Along the way, a mysterious narrative unfolds, revealing the hidden history of the world above the clouds.
The adventure takes players through a variety of hand-painted biomes, each bringing its own atmosphere and visual style. Complementing the tranquil gameplay is an original soundtrack featuring vocals from Mariya Anastasova, known to many players for her performance on “Down by the River” from Baldur’s Gate 3.
Cloudscrapers has also been designed with accessibility and portability in mind. The full game includes complete controller support and has been optimized for Steam Deck, allowing players to continue building their sky-high settlements whether at home or on the go.
