Belgian indie team MeepMeep Games has officially pulled the trigger on its debut project, Galactic Vault, confirming a March 10, 2026 launch on PC via Steam.
Built as a high-speed FPS roguelite, Galactic Vault revolves around one core idea: your weapon is never finished. After clearing each room, players select new add-ons for their gun, stacking upgrades, altering fire modes, and building powerful synergies on the fly. Every run reshapes your arsenal, turning each vault raid into a chaotic experiment in firepower and creativity.
Movement plays just as big a role as shooting. Sprint, slide, and blast through alien vaults as escalating challenges push your reflexes to the limit. With a massive pool of room layouts, enemies, bosses, and upgrades, no two runs play out the same way.

Players don’t have to wait until March to jump in. As part of Steam Next Fest, a playable demo is available now—and it’s already sitting at an impressive 96% positive user rating. It offers an early taste of the game’s relentless pace and addictive upgrade system.

In Galactic Vault, you step into the boots of a former VOLT operator returning to the front lines to raid high-tech vaults scattered across the galaxy. Each facility ramps up the pressure with new enemy types and distinct bosses that demand quick thinking and bold strategies. The deeper you go, the tougher it gets.

While clearly inspired by roguelite and arena-shooter heavyweights, the game leans hard into near-endless replayability. Death isn’t the end. With every failed run, you grow stronger, unlock new abilities, experiment with wilder weapon builds, and gain access to even more secure—and dangerous—vaults.
