Indie studio Eldelic Games has officially revealed its debut title, Inky Blinky Bob, a genre-bending horror-comedy action game that looks equal parts unsettling and unhinged. Launching on March 20, 2026, for PC via Steam, the newly released first trailer offers an early glimpse at the game’s bizarre world, grotesque enemies, and its most memorable feature: a colossal flying octopus fused with a hot air balloon.

In Inky Blinky Bob, players step into the shoes of a detective sent to investigate mysterious signals coming from a remote chain of islands controlled by the shadowy biotech outfit Quantum Corp. What starts as a straightforward case quickly spirals into a nightmarish mystery involving failed experiments, mutated creatures, and the looming presence of the game’s airborne abomination.

Exploration takes players across storm-lashed coastlines, eerie island settlements, and underground labs, mixing grounded third-person combat with narrative-driven encounters and strange NPCs. Traversal and large-scale combat take to the skies, where players pilot a heavily armed hot air balloon—upgrading both weapons and vessel using materials scavenged from the islands below—in preparation for a climactic aerial showdown with Inky Blinky Bob itself.

According to Eldelic Games CEO Miroslav Ilić, the team set out to create something intentionally strange: a blend of psychological horror and outright absurdity that never takes itself too seriously. While the game leans into ominous nighttime settings and unsettling imagery, its exaggerated art style, twisted environments, and dark humor consistently undercut the tension, giving Inky Blinky Bob a tone that’s as funny as it is grotesque.
