Get ready to grab your oversized crayons and dive into the world of Color Breakers 2, the pixel-perfect co-op coloring game from developer deleon and publisher indie.io. Whether you’re young, old, or somewhere in between, this follow-up to the charming original is packed with cooperative chaos, competitive fun, and plenty of ways to make a mess while remaking stolen masterpieces.
The story begins at the world-famous Color Museum, which was set to open a massive pixel art exhibition—until a mysterious thief stole every last piece of artwork. With opening day looming and walls left bare, the Color Breakers do what they do best: leap into the empty paintings and recreate them pixel by pixel!
Each painting acts as a unique arena, where players color in massive canvases while dodging obstacles like collapsing bridges, narrow walkways, and shifting platforms. Falling off might dunk you in cold water, but the real challenge comes from wrangling up to eight chaotic players all working (or tripping over each other) at once.
Want to test your friendships even further? The revamped Versus Mode splits players into two teams, each racing to complete the same pixel painting before the timer runs out. With procedurally generated paintings and constantly changing maps, no two matches play out the same—keeping everyone on their toes while friendships are put to the test.
Co-op, competition, and creativity all collide in Color Breakers 2, a game where communication and teamwork are the only way to keep your canvas from turning into complete chaos.
Color Breakers 2 will be available on Steam and Nintendo Switch, so round up your crew, pick your colors, and get ready to paint the town red… and blue, and green, and everything in between.
