Sometimes detective work isn’t about saving the world—it’s about solving life’s everyday mysteries. That’s exactly the heart of Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game, the debut title from Indonesian indie developer Posh Cat Studio, arriving on Steam September 9, 2025.

Created by a small, passionate, female-led team, Little Problems was born from a love of detective fiction mixed with a desire for something more wholesome than your usual murder mystery. Instead of blood, crime, and cosmic horror, players are invited to sleuth through the lighter side of life—navigating the tiny challenges and misunderstandings that shape daily experiences.

“Little Problems focuses on solving mysteries based on life’s minor inconveniences and everyday misunderstandings,” said Melisa, Lead Developer and Founder at Posh Cat Studio. “It’s not about saving the world, it’s about enriching it, one little problem at a time.”

In the game, players step into the shoes of Mary, a freshman university student trying to navigate student life. Did you oversleep and miss class? Forget where your study group is meeting? Lose track of an assignment? These aren’t world-ending catastrophes, but they’re the little puzzles that make everyday life feel like its own mystery.

With cozy vibes, charming visuals, and a focus on empathy and connection, Little Problems turns the detective genre on its head—delivering a safe, heartwarming, and approachable take on problem-solving.
