The Six One Indie Showcase is coming back for another round, with its eighth premiere event set for May 21st, 2026. If you’re an indie developer looking for a platform to show off your game—or just a fan of discovering hidden gems—this is one to watch.

Submissions are open now through February 20th at sixoneindie.com/showcase, and staying true to the event’s roots, there’s no cost to participate. No paid slots, no sponsorship tiers—just a genuine opportunity for indie teams of all sizes to get their games in front of an audience.

    Growing Momentum

The showcase has been building serious momentum. Last year’s May and September events pulled in nearly 80,000 views on the official streams, with total reach approaching 1 million views when you factor in co-streams, influencer reactions, and individual trailer breakouts. That’s real visibility for games that might otherwise struggle to break through the noise.

The reception has been strong too. Game Informer called it “2025’s best indie game showcase and one of my favorites ever,” while VICE praised the team for “providing a level of discoverability for indies.”

    What Makes It Different

Since launching in 2022, Six One Indie has featured over 200 indie titles, but the focus isn’t just on the games—it’s on the people making them. The showcase emphasizes the human side of indie development and actively works to support teams who don’t have access to traditional industry platforms or marketing budgets.

What started as a grassroots passion project has evolved into a professionally produced event, complete with direct marketing support and hands-on production help for participants. But the core philosophy hasn’t changed: zero barriers, zero cost for developers.

    How to Get Involved

Indie developers interested in submitting their games can find guidelines and submission details at sixoneindie.com/showcase. The deadline is February 20th, so there’s plenty of time to get your materials together.

More details about the 2026 showcase will be announced as we get closer to the May 21st premiere date.
