Soft Source and Berangin Creative have announced that their heartfelt narrative puzzle adventure Kejora will now launch on January 8, 2026, instead of its original September 4, 2025 release date.
The decision came after the surprise news that Hollow Knight: Silksong—one of the most anticipated indie sequels of all time—would also be releasing on the same day. Out of respect for Team Cherry’s long-awaited title, and to ensure Kejora gets the spotlight it deserves, the studios made the tough call to delay.
Originally conceived in 2021 as a run-and-gun side-scroller, Kejora has since evolved into a stunning narrative puzzle adventure rooted deeply in Southeast Asian culture and storytelling. The game has already built a strong following, especially across the region, and its developers want to make sure it gets the attention it has earned.
When Kejora does arrive this January, it won’t just be limited to Steam—players can look forward to diving into its journey on Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox Series X|S as well.
Soft Source shared their gratitude for the growing community that has supported Kejora since its reveal, emphasizing that the game will always stand as a proud representation of Southeast Asian creativity and talent.
