Mark your calendars—September 18, 2025. That’s the day when DeadWire, the neon-soaked hacker shooter from solo developer Anaconda Shotgun and indie publisher The CoLab, officially launches on Steam.
In DeadWire, the city itself becomes your weapon. This top-down action game lets you rewire anything—cars, cameras, electronics, even the implants inside your enemies—into chaotic chain reactions of carnage. Every explosion, every hacked device, every improvised trap is entirely player-driven, turning each encounter into a fresh puzzle box of destruction.
With over 30 handcrafted levels, a high-score-chasing DeadWire Mode, and a pounding synthwave soundtrack, the game promises intense, stylish action that keeps you coming back for “one more run.”
“One second players will be sprinting through a neon alley, the next, they’re rewiring a car, a CCTV camera, and unlucky guards into a chaotic chain-reaction,” said Arman, solo developer and founder of Anaconda Shotgun.
DeadWire first caught attention at the PC Gaming Show in June, where PC Gamer praised its design as a “chain reaction sandbox of carnage and death.”
