Midnight Horde Unleashes New Trailer and Demo

Parkour Meets Bullet Heaven!

If Vampire Survivors had a fling with a gothic parkour sim, the result would look a lot like Midnight Horde. Indie dev Carry Castle has just dropped a brand-new trailer and an updated demo for the upcoming roguelite, giving players another taste of its reverse bullet hell mayhem.

The fresh trailer—premiering during The Mix Fall Showcase 2025—shows off creepy new environments, towering new bosses, and a good dose of stylish chaos. Meanwhile, the updated demo introduces a resource system, a slick new sliding mechanic, and other tweaks designed to crank up the flow.

Midnight Horde is my personal challenge to make the most objectively fun and flow state focused game I can make as a solo developer. It blends everything I love: gothic vibes, roguelite progression, and fast, skill-based movement, into an experience that’s both intense and expressive,” said Per Fornander, the developer behind Carry Castle.

What is Midnight Horde?

In Midnight Horde, you’re thrown into sprawling gothic ruins overrun by swarms of twisted monstrosities. With fast, fluid parkour abilities, you’ll dash, climb, and weave your way across rooftops and walls while dishing out destruction. Each run sends you deeper into the chaos, but between nights you’ll return to your castle—building it up, unlocking upgrades, and preparing for the horrors to come.
