Good news for night owls and lo-fi fans — Coffee Talk Tokyo just poured a fresh refill. Chorus Worldwide has released an updated demo (Version 2) for the cozy narrative adventure, now live on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. This new slice of the game lets you experience all of Day 1, dip into the opening of Day 2, and meet some of the brand-new characters joining the series. Even better, the demo supports nine languages right out of the gate, making the late-night café more accessible than ever.

A Nintendo Switch version of the demo is also on the way, but you’ll have to wait just a little longer for that one.

    What’s Brewing in the Demo

Coffee Talk Tokyo picks up the comforting, slice-of-life vibes fans loved in the first two games and brings them to a new setting — a tucked-away café in neon-lit Tokyo. Here, you’ll serve both humans and fantastical beings, brewing drinks to warm their hearts while guiding conversations with your choices.

    The updated demo highlights:

    • A new café, new faces – Meet characters like Kenji, a retired kappa salaryman, Vin, your assistant behind the counter, and Ayame, an It-girl navigating her afterlife.

    • Brewing that matters – Drinks influence moods, shape dialogue, and can even unlock branching storylines.

    • Latte art with flair – New sprinkle stencils let you personalize drinks before polishing them with etching.

    • The Tokyo vibe – A summertime setting where tradition and modern life collide, scored with laid-back lo-fi jazz.

    • Tomodachill feed – Peek into your customers’ posts for extra story details and hidden connections.

    • Nine language options – English, Japanese, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.

The soundtrack comes once again from composer Andrew “AJ” Jeremy, returning to deliver the chill lo-fi beats that made the original Coffee Talk games perfect late-night companions.
