Covenant.dev has unveiled the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming title, “To the Star,” a delightful adventure game brimming with creativity and base-building mechanics. Players embark on a magical journey through a whimsical world, striving to reach a fallen star.
In this enchanting land, you’ll encounter unique creatures and stunning landscapes, all while carrying the world on your back! With a magical briefcase, known as the “Briefbase,” you can dive into a private dimension at any time to build and customize your base. After exploring, fighting, and gathering materials, you can invest in farming resources and constructing Skillbuildings to enhance your character’s abilities and progress further on your quest.
The Briefbase also serves as a safe space for crafting experiments. In “To the Star,” you can combine various ingredients to create extraordinary items, which can be consumed, thrown at co-players, or launched at enemies. This creative freedom turns almost anything into a potential projectile, adding endless possibilities for emergent gameplay.
Personalize your Briefbase by changing the skybox, background objects, time of day, and more. You can even upload your own music to play while relaxing in your private dimension.
The development team has conducted several successful playtests of an early build and invites interested players to join the “To the Star” Discord server to help shape the future of the game.
