Good Shepherd Entertainment has revealed Dicefolk, an upcoming PC game that combines tactical roguelite gameplay with dice mechanics and monster-catching elements. Developed by Leap and Tiny Ghoul, Dicefolk grants players unprecedented control over battles, allowing them to manipulate dice and enemy turn order to gain tactical advantages. With a plethora of powerful creatures to recruit, players can assemble their ideal squad and strive for victory.
Dicefolk introduces extraordinary beings known as Dicefolk who possess the ability to bring magical creatures called chimeras to life from their grimoires. However, some of these chimeras have begun causing chaos. As a Dicefolk equipped with dice-shaped artifacts capable of commanding any chimera, players embark on an exhilarating roguelike adventure to restore peace and harmony across the land. Utilizing unique dice mechanics, players control their creatures and take charge of each encounter, leading their team to triumph.
- Thrilling Roguelite Adventure: Embark on an adventure filled with excitement and unpredictability. Collect increasingly powerful chimeras to form the perfect squad while uncovering the story through talismans. Each run presents new combinations of chimeras, opening up endless possibilities and replayability.
- Take Control of Combat: The destiny of the dice lies in your hands. Assume command of your chimeras, determining the faces of the dice and the sequence in which each party takes action. Your choices directly influence your success as you face off against various wild creatures.
- Master Your Chimeras: Choose from a diverse range of mighty monsters to recruit for your squad. Whether you need resilient tanks or swift attackers, each chimera offers a unique set of abilities, enabling you to shape your strategy and adapt your play style to overcome any challenge.
