Indie game developer studio Angry Mob Games has launched Trinity Fusion, an action-roguelike game! Players control Maya, a psychic warrior who travels between dimensions, and must prevent a multiversal apocalypse by using three parallel selves to fuse their worlds and defeat a genocidal machine uprising.
Trinity Fusion features procedurally generated levels and hand-crafted stages and arenas that test players’ skills. Maya’s alternate selves each have their own unique universe with multiple biomes to explore, including desolate wastes and caverns, endless forges and laboratories, and dangerous sky cities of a post-human society. The game also offers a deep, universe-hopping backstory created by award-winning sci-fi author Ada Hoffmann.
Players can unlock permanent upgrades in The Citadel, Trinity Fusion’s hub world, and discover new starting points for their runs as they reclaim major locations in each universe. The game features sophisticated weapon designs and attack systems, which leverage Angry Mob Games’ previous experience in the fighting game genre.
Trinity Fusion sets itself apart from other roguelikes with its sleek sci-fi visuals, tight controls, and variety of spells and weaponry. Early Access for Trinity Fusion offers new biomes to explore and a flurry of new abilities.
