X-Men Cerebro

New X-Men Series

Filming starts soon in Dallas, Texas
Fox is coming to our very own Dallas, TX, where Yogomi is based, to film the pilot for their untitled X-Men project.
The show is about two ordinary parents in the midst of a separation who discover that their
children possess mutant powers.
“Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.”
Similar to Marvel’s Netflix shows (Daredevil, AKA Jessica Jones, Luke Cage) the series will exist in the same universe as the X-Men movies, but it will not directly crossover with the film franchise.
The cast includes some well-known X-Men as well as original characters. Emma Dumont has been cast as Lorna Dane, the daughter of Magneto and magnetism-powered mutant known as Polaris. Jamie Chung has been cast as Blink, the teleporter we may all recognize from X-Men: Days of Future Past, formerly played by Bingbing Fan. Some original characters include Blair Redford as Sam, the Native American leader of the mutant underground network, and Dallas-native Amy Acker as Kate Stewart, the mother in this family unit on the lam and leading lady of the show.
The series will be directed by Fox’s X-Men expert, Bryan Singer, and penned by Burn Notice’s Matt Nix.
Filming will begin on March 20
