SOEDESCO and developer Senscape have announced that ASYLUM will launch on consoles on October 30. The psychological horror adventure will arrive on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch following its PC release in 2025.
Set inside the mysterious Hanwell Mental Institute, ASYLUM follows a former patient plagued by disturbing visions. Players will explore the institute, search for clues, and investigate unsettling discoveries while gradually piecing together the truth behind the strange events that occurred within its walls.

The first-person horror adventure offers approximately 10 hours of gameplay, combining exploration and challenging puzzles with an atmosphere inspired by Lovecraftian fiction and classic horror cinema. Careful observation is key to uncovering the institute’s hidden mysteries and secrets.

The experience also features a haunting soundtrack influenced by classic 1980s horror films and the work of filmmaker and composer John Carpenter. Rather than relying heavily on jump scares, ASYLUM focuses primarily on suspense, atmosphere, and the gradual discovery of what happened inside Hanwell.

Following its well-received PC debut, ASYLUM currently holds a Very Positive user rating on Steam. Console players will be able to enter the Hanwell Mental Institute when the game launches on October 30.
