Publisher LINE Games and developer TWOMENGAMES have launched the first playtest for Amazing Slot Survivor (A.S.S.), giving players the chance to take on endless hordes, build powerful characters, and test their luck with the mysterious Legendary Slot Machine.
In Amazing Slot Survivor, enemies arrive in relentless waves, forcing players to balance combat skill with a little bit of luck. Players can choose starting items, complete objectives, strengthen their builds, and hunt down the Spawners responsible for creating the seemingly endless stream of enemies before facing the boss.
The Legendary Slot Machine is at the center of the game’s risk-and-reward system. Players decide when to take a chance on a spin, with a jackpot potentially making them 18 times stronger. The gamble can completely change the course of a run, but knowing when to play it safe can be just as important as knowing when to go all in.
Combat also offers plenty of variety, with playable characters specializing in different fighting styles and an assortment of weapons to unlock. Swords, guns, and even stranger options such as the God Finger give players different ways to tear through the hordes, with skill playing an important role alongside the game’s luck-based mechanics.
Death isn’t necessarily the end, either. Players can take another gamble with the Legendary Slot Machine for the chance to revive, adding another layer of risk to each run. Bonus Stages also shake things up with entirely different rules, requiring players to adapt their strategies rather than relying on a familiar approach.
The first Amazing Slot Survivor playtest is available now, offering an early look at the game’s combination of bullet heaven action, roguelike progression, and slot-machine-inspired risk and reward.
