Publisher Goblinz Publishing and indie developers Géraud Zucchini and Chariospirale have officially launched Sol CestoVersion 1.0 on Steam, bringing the fast-paced tactical roguelite out of Early Access with a major update packed with new content and gameplay improvements.

In Sol Cesto, strategy and chance collide as players descend into a mysterious underground world in search of a long-lost sun. Each move across the game’s combat grid is a calculated risk. Since entering Early Access on May 27, 2025, the game has steadily grown alongside its community. Sol Cesto has sold more than 70,000 copies, gathered nearly 170,000 wishlists, and even earned recognition as a finalist at the Pégases 2026 Awards for Best Indie Game and Best Game Design.
The Version 1.0 launch introduces several major additions to the game’s roguelite formula. Players can now face a brand-new final boss and explore a hidden area located even deeper within the underground world. Each of the game’s seven playable characters now features a unique ending, adding new narrative outcomes to each run.
Progression systems have also been expanded and reworked. New challenges allow players to unlock characters and items, while the Peasant character now has a dedicated progression path designed to make the once-underpowered adventurer a much stronger option.
Beyond new content, the full release brings a number of quality-of-life improvements. The game now features a complete UI overhaul, new interactions, updated shops and systems, Steam Achievements support, and an atmospheric introduction cinematic. Additional visual enhancements and deeper item synergies also open up new strategic possibilities during runs.
