Publisher Twin Sails Interactive has officially signed Moonsigil Atlas, a new cosmic deckbuilding roguelike from developer Snake Tower Games. The game blends traditional deckbuilding strategy with a clever tile-placement twist, and it’s set to launch on Steam in June 2026. Players can try it now through a free demo available during Steam Turn-Based Thursday Fest, which runs from March 9 through March 16.
At first glance, Moonsigil Atlas might look familiar to fans of the genre, but it quickly reveals a unique mechanic that sets it apart. Instead of managing energy or mana, players are limited by space. Each turn revolves around placing sigil cards onto a moon-tile board, turning every move into a puzzle of positioning and geometry. If a card fits within the available space, it can be cast—opening the door for creative combinations based on adjacency, overlap, and careful placement.

That simple concept transforms every encounter into a strategic challenge. Players aren’t just deciding which spells to use, but also how they physically fit together within their casting circle. The result is a deckbuilder that rewards spatial thinking as much as tactical planning.

Progression in Moonsigil Atlas also takes a different approach. Rather than simply adding stronger cards to your deck, players can reshape and modify the geometry of their sigils, carve runes into their abilities, and introduce new keywords that alter how spells behave. Over time, each run becomes a chance to experiment with increasingly powerful and unusual builds.

The game is designed for replayability, featuring three playable characters with multiple playstyles, more than 200 cards, and thousands of possible upgrade combinations. Along the way, players will face over 40 enemies and bosses—including massive cosmic entities known as the Astral Titans.

All of this unfolds in a hand-painted visual style that emphasizes cosmic colors, glowing sigils, and the tactile feel of a beautifully illustrated card game.
Moonsigil Atlas is scheduled to launch on Steam in June 2026, with the playable demo available now as part of Steam’s Turn-Based Thursday Fest.
