NACON and developer Spiders have released a new trailer offering a deeper look at the story behind GreedFall: The Dying World. The upcoming RPG invites players to explore the troubled continent of Gacane when the game launches March 10 on PC and March 12 on consoles.
Serving as a prequel set three years before the events of the original GreedFall, the new adventure follows a native of the island of Teer Fradee who has been forcibly taken from their homeland and brought to the continent of Gacane. Once the heart of the colonial world, Gacane now faces collapse. A devastating epidemic known as the Malichor is spreading across the land, while rival factions compete for power amid growing instability.

The protagonist’s goal is simple at first: escape captivity and find a way back to Teer Fradee. But as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the conflict surrounding the continent runs far deeper. Conspiracies, political rivalries, and desperate struggles for control will shape the fate of both Gacane and the protagonist’s people.

Throughout the journey, players will have multiple paths available to overcome obstacles. Diplomatic negotiations, calculated manipulation, or direct combat can all be used to influence events and determine how the story unfolds. Every decision carries weight, shaping alliances and altering the course of the narrative.

With tensions rising and the Malichor continuing to devastate the land, survival will depend on navigating dangerous factions, resisting the spread of disease, and confronting the ambitions of powerful enemies.
GreedFall: The Dying World is currently available in Early Access on PC via Steam. The full version launches March 10 on PC, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 12, 2026.
