Curve Games and indie studio WILD WITS have officially lifted the curtain on Sovereign Tower, a narrative-driven Round Table management RPG heading to PC in August 2026. Inspired by Arthurian legend but leaning heavily into humor and the absurd, the game puts players in charge of a kingdom that’s always one bad decision away from complete collapse.

In Sovereign Tower, you step into the role of a newly crowned sovereign tasked with keeping both your knights and your subjects in check. That’s easier said than done when your Round Table is filled with eccentric champions whose egos often rival their combat abilities. Managing the court means juggling public opinion, royal coffers, and the unpredictable personalities of your knights—all while trying to keep the kingdom from spiraling into chaos.

Quests range from the epic to the outright bizarre. One moment you’re sending knights on dangerous missions that could decide the fate of the realm, and the next you’re dealing with oddly specific problems like corralling a rogue goose or performing an emergency exorcism. Success depends on how well you match each knight’s strengths and weaknesses to the task at hand, with failure always looming as a very real possibility.

When things inevitably go wrong—and they will—Sovereign Tower has a devilish solution. Players can strike a deal with a demon to rewind time, resetting their reign while unlocking new dialogue options and branching paths. This time-loop mechanic encourages experimentation, letting players rewrite history again and again in pursuit of the “perfect” rule… or at least a less disastrous one.

For those eager to get a taste of the madness, a free first-look build is available right now on itch.io, offering roughly an hour of gameplay and an early glimpse at the game’s systems, tone, and storytelling.

Speaking on the announcement, WILD WITS Creative and Art Director Gobert shared excitement about finally revealing the project, calling Sovereign Tower a fresh concept built on the studio’s past successes. Curve Games’ VP of Publishing Rich Keen echoed that enthusiasm, praising the game’s humor and the delightfully unhinged world the team has created.

Sovereign Tower launches on PC in August 2026, but with a playable build already available, aspiring monarchs don’t have to wait long to see if they have what it takes to rule an unruly kingdom.
