HypeTrain Digital and Sleepy Castle Studio have announced that Escape from Ever After will officially launch on January 23, 2026, arriving on PC and consoles with a full release that expands far beyond its well-received prologue.

With the prologue setting the stage, the complete adventure is now ready to unfold.

Escape from Ever After will launch simultaneously on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, priced at $24.99 USD.

A Storybook Rebellion with Turn-Based Flair

Drawing clear inspiration from the classic Paper Mario games, Escape from Ever After blends playful presentation with sharp satire. The game casts players into a vibrant storybook universe where fairy tale heroes find themselves trapped inside a corporate machine. Their goal? Work their way up the ladder from the inside and bring down the profit-obsessed Ever After Inc.

Gameplay centers on snappy, turn-based battles that reward experimentation, smart party composition, and creative use of abilities. Each character comes with distinct skills that can be equipped, upgraded, and customized, allowing players to fine-tune their approach as new challenges emerge.

Outside of combat, the game leans heavily into its setting. Players will explore imaginative storybook worlds filled with side quests, secrets, and offbeat characters, while also navigating office politics, engaging in workplace banter, and even decorating their own office space as they climb the corporate hierarchy.
