No Such Place, the paranormal extraction shooter from ChillyRoom, is preparing to unleash its next public playtest on December 16, 2025, exclusively on Steam for PC.

In this eerie top-down shooter, you play as a seasoned agent of the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.), sent to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances tied to dimensional anomalies. Each mission drops you into distorted fragments of reality—ancient forests twisted by time, derelict military bases, and futuristic labs echoing with strange energy. Your goal? Survive long enough to gather valuable resources, escape with your findings, and uncover what’s really happening across these fractured worlds.

Every scavenged relic and rare material matters. You’ll use your haul to craft and upgrade weapons, fortify your home base, and manage survival stats like hunger, stamina, and weight. The game’s Corruption System lets players customize weapons in bizarre and unpredictable ways—think old-world brass scopes bolted onto high-tech carbines or corrupted bullets that can amplify your firepower or destroy your gun entirely.

ChillyRoom’s CEO Zeyang Li teased what’s coming in the new build: expanded maps, a revamped safe house system, environmental overhauls, and more. The update also brings multi-language support (English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Russian), inviting more players to step into the darkness.

No Such Place looks to fuse the gritty tension of extraction shooters with unsettling paranormal mystery—equal parts strategy, survival, and supernatural horror.

The next playtest opens December 16, 2025. Keep your weapon loaded, your wits sharp, and your mask close. There’s no telling what’s waiting on the other side.
