Sushi Ben Serves Up PC Release This September

An interactive anime adventure!

Indie studio Big Brane Studios Inc. has officially announced that their interactive anime adventure, Sushi Ben, is heading to PC via Steam on September 18, 2025. Originally launched on VR platforms back in 2023, the game quickly became a viral hit thanks to its charming story, quirky humor, and countless mini-games.

The PC release isn’t just a port—it’s packing extra content. Players can look forward to over four hours of new mini-games plus a fully voiced English cast featuring heavy hitters like Laura Post (Little Witch Academia), Ryan Colt Levy (Chainsaw Man), AJ Beckles (Dandadan), and many more.

At its core, Sushi Ben is an interactive anime narrative where you’ll step into the shoes of a newcomer in Kotobuki Town, a seaside community under threat from greedy land developers. To save the town’s beloved sushi bar, you’ll need to rally the locals, build friendships, and maybe get a little sidetracked by fishing, archery, dog walking—or even ghost hunting.

The game’s story comes from Hato Moa, the mind behind the cult classic Hatoful Boyfriend, and it’s presented in an eye-catching mix of 3D manga panels and anime-inspired flair. Whether you play in VR or on a flatscreen, Sushi Ben promises a cozy yet over-the-top slice-of-life adventure that’s as heartwarming as it is hilarious.
