Silver Lining Interactive Launches the Silver Bullet Programme to Back Bold Indie Games

The seas are about to get a whole lot rougher.

Silver Lining Interactive has unveiled the Silver Bullet Programme, a new initiative aimed at empowering independent developers and helping unique, daring projects find the spotlight they deserve.

The program is built around a simple belief: some of the most unforgettable games don’t come from AAA studios, but from small, passionate teams—or even solo devs—with wild ideas that stick with players long after the credits roll.

Riding the “Indie Riptide”

Silver Lining calls this spark the Indie Riptide—that unmistakable current that pulls players into a game’s world from the very first moment and refuses to let go. The Silver Bullet Programme is designed to help developers harness that current and ride it all the way to release.

What Developers Can Expect

The programme offers a mix of funding, support, and creative freedom:

  • Up to $100,000 in development funding

  • Tailored, collaborative publishing support

  • QA, porting, and marketing assistance

  • Hands-on guidance to help games reach the right players

  • Total creative freedom—your vision remains yours

What They’re Looking For

Silver Lining is seeking games that:

  • Create the Riptide Effect—hooking players instantly.

  • Stand out and rise above the noise.

  • Feel inherently shareable, the kind of experience players need to talk about.

As Ross Griffith, Head of Marketing at Silver Lining, explains:

“We want to catch awesome games we might otherwise miss, and amplify them, support them, and help them reach the audience they were always meant for… When a developer has that kind of game, along with that drive, that tenacity, we want to stand beside them and say, ‘Let’s make this real.’”

Meet the Team at Gamescom

Developers curious about the Silver Bullet Programme can connect with the Silver Lining team at Gamescom 2025. They’ll be available for meetings on the show floor, and also hosting an informal mixer at The Corkonian in Cologne on August 21st at 6:30pm local time. Expect beers, banter, and maybe even a few spontaneous game pitches.

If you’ve got the spark, the Silver Bullet Programme might just fuel your fire.
