If you’re in the mood for something bright, bubbly, and irresistibly cute, Pastel☆Parade has officially launched today on Steam. Developed by room6, this new rhythm game combines simple controls with a colorful story about friendship, music, and a few surprises along the way. To sweeten the deal, the game is also available at 10% off during its launch week, running through Wednesday, September 10.
A Rhythm Game With Heart
Pastel☆Parade isn’t just about tapping to the beat — it’s about watching its cast come alive through music. With over 30 original tracks from eight different composers, you’ll play through daily adventures that range from quiet streets to lively concerts. Each rhythm section influences the way the characters move, so even if you miss a few notes, you’ll still see plenty of charm in their animations.
Meet the Cast
The story follows four students, each with their own quirks and favorite drinks:
-
Amane – A curious first-year transfer student who loves ramune and quickly bonds with Nagisa.
-
Nagisa – Intelligent, usually quiet, but maybe a little different since Amane arrived. Prefers tea.
-
Moon – A lively second-year and volleyball club member who swears by lemon squash.
-
Kohaku – Another second-year, always upbeat and always hungry, with a soft spot for orange juice.
More Than Just Notes
While the story unfolds, players will also stumble across a hidden “secret” tucked into the narrative, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the cheerful atmosphere.
With its accessible controls, sparkling soundtrack, and adorable cast, Pastel☆Parade looks like a cozy rhythm game for anyone who wants to unwind and soak in some kawaii vibes.
Pastel☆Parade is out now on Steam with a launch discount until September 10.
