Assemble Entertainment and Ukrainian developer Pushka Studios have unveiled Grind Survivors, a high-octane action roguelike that cranks the survivors formula into overdrive. Revealed during the gamescom Awesome Indies showcase, the game mixes bullet-hell chaos with looter-shooter progression, all set in a scorched, demon-infested world. Grind Survivors is set to launch on PC and consoles in 2026, but players can jump in early with a Steam playtest that’s live right now.
Survive, Loot, Forge, Repeat
Players take on the role of armored demon hunters battling endless waves of hellspawn across multiple biomes. Every run is an explosive mix of survival roguelike action, randomized loot drops, and dynamic character builds. From cursed relics to demon-forged shotguns, the arsenal is vast—and dangerous.
Between runs, players visit The Forge, a high-stakes crafting hub where weapons can be merged, rerolled, or destroyed entirely in the pursuit of raw power. Risk big, win big—or lose it all.
“Grind Survivors takes the survivors genre and makes it more extreme in every way—more action, more chaos, more everything,” said Kirill Mukhin of Pushka Studios. “After years of working on various games and porting projects, we’re thrilled to finally present our first original title, a game that channels our creativity and passion for unforgettable gameplay.”
