Indie developer Pandamander Games has released a free playable demo on Steam for their upcoming dog-themed roguelike deckbuilder, giving players a first taste of the tail-wagging adventure before the full launch in 2025.
A Deckbuilder with Puppy Power
World’s Goodest Pup takes the strategic thrills of roguelike deckbuilding and wraps them in wholesome canine charm. Players set out on a canine quest across the city, competing in dog shows from the park to the stadium, all while building a deck of tricks, talents, and maybe even a few puppy dog eyes to help earn the crown of “top dog.”
The demo lets you start out with a golden retriever companion, but more breeds with their own unique talents will be available in the full release. You’ll train your pup in obedience, agility, and style, taking on procedurally generated challenges designed to test both your deck and your dog-handling skills.

Beyond competitions, World’s Goodest Pup emphasizes bonding with your furry companion. Each stage deepens your connection as your dog grows, learns, and levels up new tricks.
