If you’ve ever wished your roguelike dungeons felt more like a chaotic game of pinball, Flick Shot Rogues is about to make your day. Indie studio Butter by the Fish and publisher Noodlecake (the team behind Winter Burrow and Super Stickman Golf) have announced that their turn-based tactical roguelike will officially launch on September 17 for PC via Steam.
Fans of Peglin or Dungeon Clawler will feel right at home here, as this dungeon crawler replaces swords and spells with a more… kinetic approach. Instead of moving tile by tile, you flick your hero across the battlefield, bouncing into enemies, triggering chain reactions, and unleashing devastating combos. It’s strategy with style — and maybe just a little chaos.
The demo has already struck a chord with players, currently sitting at a glowing 95% positive rating on Steam, and now the full game is almost here.
What to Expect in Flick Shot Rogues
-
Flick Your Hero Into Battle – Plan your angle, line up the perfect shot, and send your character crashing into enemies.
-
Turn-Based Strategy Meets Pinball Mayhem – Every move matters, but one well-placed flick can change everything.
-
Crazy Combos – Bounce attacks off walls and enemies for devastating ricochet effects.
-
Risk & Reward Loot – Collect powerful items, talents, and curses that can turn a run into a god-tier combo machine — or total disaster.
-
Endless Replayability – Enemy spawns and loot reshuffle with every run, forcing you to adapt your strategy on the fly.
Flick Shot Rogues will be launching September 17 on Steam. If you’ve been waiting for a roguelike that’s as much about clever aim as it is about clever planning, this might just be your next obsession.
