United 1944 Beta

Experience the excitement of the first beta phase of UNITED 1944 by embarking on thrilling adventures, crafting weapons, and engaging in combat.

Form squads and engage in 16v16 base conquest matches set in the North African theaters of World War II. Additional maps, including France and Russia, will be introduced in later stages. This initial beta allows players to immerse themselves in the exhilarating Domination mode, where they must scavenge for resources, craft weapons, gather enemy intel documents, establish outposts, and dismantle enemy bases.

In UNITED 1944, teamwork is crucial for success in urban warfare. Players will scavenge for resources, fortify bases, defend outposts, create customized gear, and engage in battles against the enemy, all in an immersive World War II setting that balances realism with enjoyable gameplay. This competitive multiplayer game combines first-person shooter action with strategy, construction, and crafting, offering a unique experience that diverges from the typical aim-down-sights encounters.

Create your own war story as you specialize in various roles during each match, where the dynamic day/night cycle influences combat strategies. Dusk brings the need for reconnaissance support while offering opportunities for stealthy enemy attacks on your headquarters. Effective communication with your squad is essential for both defense and conquest.

Novarama’s announcement in late April about the first beta phase has garnered a greater number of sign-ups than expected. As a result, the studio has decided to host not just one but two action-packed weekends on the North African front of WWII. The first weekend, scheduled from May 19 to May 21, will have servers based in Europe, while the second weekend, taking place from May 26 to 28, will utilize North American servers. Players are free to participate in either period, but the studio encourages players to join the frontlines that align with their region to ensure a more stable online experience.

To request access to the beta, players need to click the ‘Join the United 1944 playtest’ button on Steam and join the official Discord server. It is important to note that submitting a request does not guarantee access to the beta, as participants will be selected randomly. However, the Novarama team will strive to include as many players as technically feasible for this initial playtest.
