ARTE France and independent studio Oopsie Daisies have announced that Tom the Postgirl will launch on October 29, 2026, just in time for Halloween. This unusual adventure combines a cute visual style with dark humor, bizarre characters, and plenty of opportunities to cause trouble.
Deliver the Mail and Uncover Secrets
Players follow Tom, a mischievous postgirl whose delivery rounds rarely go as planned. As she makes her way through a seemingly charming village, Tom takes every opportunity to peek inside homes and discover what the residents are hiding.

The villagers are anything but ordinary. From a narcissistic mayor and a suspicious orphanage to chainsaw-wielding hippies, there’s something strange happening behind every door. Players can observe these peculiar characters, investigate their behavior, and uncover unsettling scenes hidden throughout the village.

Of course, delivering the mail isn’t the only thing Tom can do. Players can choose to behave themselves or embrace their mischievous side by trampling carefully maintained hedges, crushing flowerbeds, stealing garden gnomes, and generally disrupting the peace.
Even the local wildlife has its secrets, with drug-dealing pigeons, wandering cowboy earthworms, and grumpy squirrels adding to the village’s absurd atmosphere.
A Picture Book With a Dark Side
Tom the Postgirl features hand-drawn backgrounds and frame-by-frame animation that give the game a retro, storybook appearance. Beneath its innocent aesthetic, however, lies a strange world filled with dark comedy and unpredictable encounters.
The experience blends the destructive absurdity of Thank Goodness You’re Here! with the irreverent humor of Dumb Ways to Die, creating an adventure that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Players can also revisit the village to discover details they missed during earlier playthroughs. Multiple endings, achievements, and unlockable profiles reward exploration and encourage players to experiment with different approaches to Tom’s deliveries.
Tom the Postgirl launches October 29, 2026, on PC and Mac via Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
