Developer Linnet Solutions has released a new demo for Hope Timbre, a 3D puzzle adventure participating in Steam Next Fest from October 19 to 26.
Players explore imaginary realms as a mysterious creature, manipulating colorful environments and architectural elements to solve puzzles. Early challenges introduce flower blocks that rotate the player’s perspective across a 3D plane, with additional mechanics appearing as the adventure progresses.

The journey connects nighttime dreamscapes with the waking world, where players help two siblings restore their broken surroundings. Collectible Hope Instruments include musical instruments, songs, friendly creatures, and book fragments. Bringing these discoveries back allows players to heal the siblings, revive an ancient tree, and summon Spring to break a seemingly endless cycle.

Inspired by Slavic folklore and embroidery, Hope Timbre features distinctive visual patterns and music rooted in traditional folk songs. Its soundtrack evolves alongside puzzle-solving, while the world gradually transforms as players restore its beauty. With non-linear progression and no fail states or forced restarts, the game encourages relaxed exploration and experimentation.

Hope Timbre is the debut game from Linnet Solutions, whose team previously worked on award-winning Amanita Design titles, including Botanicula and Chuchel. The studio brings a similar sense of charm to its new adventure while drawing on Slavic culture and mythology.
