Indie studio Blindspot Games has officially released Infinity: HexaDome Tactics on Steam, marking the arrival of the first PC video game set in the acclaimed Infinity sci-fi board game universe. After three years of development, playtesting and extensive reworks shaped by community feedback, the 1v1 turn-based tactics game is now available for players to experience.
One of the biggest changes made during development is the move to fully deterministic combat. Following feedback from players, Blindspot Games removed dice rolls from the game ahead of launch. Attacks now always hit, critical rolls have been eliminated, and actions play out exactly as they are previewed, putting the focus on tactical decision-making rather than chance.
The launch version also introduces a new Haqqislam-themed arena based on the iconic Infinity faction, along with a new PvP mode featuring seven active arena zones. The larger battlefield is designed for longer and more strategic encounters, while graphic novel-style cutscenes have been added between PvE missions to expand the game’s presentation and story.
Players can also expand their experience with several DLC offerings. The Beatbox & Gata Legends Pack adds a board-game-inspired skin for the high-speed champion Gata and introduces BeatBox, a ranged specialist focused on battlefield control. His Boomboxes can apply Stunned and Marked effects, while his abilities allow him to fire through walls for additional damage, force distant opponents toward his equipment with Hypnotic Beat, and unleash the disruptive Mega Box ultimate.
The Galaxy Pack adds a collection of cosmic-themed customization options, including galaxy designs, shadow energy aesthetics and stellar skins for all 12 core champions. The Founders Pack instead focuses on Blindspot Games branding, offering Founder skins for Maximus, Gata and the camdroid, along with a player banner, custom tactical card designs, an exclusive emote and a unique victory celebration effect.

At its core, Infinity: HexaDome Tactics is built around fast-paced 1v1 battles on compact hex-grid arenas. Players assemble a roster of champions, each with their own abilities, roles and potential synergies, before facing opponents in PvE or PvP battles.
