Victor’s Video Vault is preparing to bring a new kind of after-hours horror to PC. The upcoming first-person game puts players behind the counter at a ‘90s VHS rental store, where an ordinary overnight shift turns into a reality-bending nightmare once the doors lock.
During the day, the job appears simple enough. Work the register, manage the store, and wait for the last customer to leave. But after closing time, the rental store begins to change.

Each night, one final movie rewrites reality and transforms Victor’s Video Vault into something far more dangerous. Players will need to navigate surreal versions of the store as it becomes a murky lagoon filled with rising water and unseen creatures, an alien hive, and other unsettling environments that emerge from the shelves.

The game’s VHS rental setting gives every tape an extra layer of tension. What looks like an ordinary movie could become the key to survival—or lead directly to disaster.

Victor’s Video Vault leans into the eerie nostalgia of the video-store era while adding a shifting survival-horror structure built around unpredictable scenarios. One night may send players searching darkened aisles for answers, while the next could trap them inside a completely transformed version of the store.

A new Steam demo is on the way, giving players an early chance to experience the unsettling world of Victor’s Video Vault. Demo keys are expected to be available by July 24 for those ready to take the midnight shift before the public demo opens.
