Toymaker: Threads of Joy is an upcoming toy-crafting and shop management simulator that combines cozy gameplay with a narrative inspired by Spanish folklore. Set in 1910s Salamanca, players step into the role of a young toymaker who inherits their mother’s plush toy workshop following her mysterious disappearance.
As the new owner of the family business, players will craft unique plush toys while interacting with a diverse cast of customers and townsfolk. Along the way, they’ll uncover secrets surrounding their mother’s fate and become entangled in a magical story rooted in the legendary folk tale known as “The Cave of Salamanca.”

At the heart of the experience is a detailed toy-making system that allows players to create custom plushies using an antique sewing machine. New sewing patterns, materials, colors, and decorative accessories can be unlocked over time, providing plenty of opportunities to personalize each creation. Players will stitch together different components, add unique details, and develop a growing catalog of handcrafted toys.

Running the workshop is just as important as crafting. Customers will visit the store with specific requests, negotiate prices, and commission new creations. Successfully understanding their needs and delivering the right products will help improve the shop’s reputation and attract even more business.

Beyond its management mechanics, Toymaker: Threads of Joy features visual novel-style storytelling and branching narrative choices. Players will encounter magical elements, local myths, and mysterious events that influence the future of Salamanca. Two distinct mythological paths will allow players to shape the story in different ways, affecting both the town’s destiny and the legacy of the family workshop.

Presented in a beautifully hand-drawn Art Nouveau art style, Toymaker: Threads of Joy aims to deliver a relaxing yet meaningful experience filled with creativity, mystery, and folklore-inspired storytelling.
