Developer Minimol Games has announced that its upcoming cozy noir detective game, Case Solved: The London Files, will launch on a wide range of platforms in 2026. Previously confirmed for PC, the mystery-solving adventure is now also headed to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices, allowing players to unravel its intricate investigations wherever they choose to play.
Blending classic detective storytelling with logic-based puzzle solving, Case Solved: The London Files casts players as a sharp-witted investigator recruited by Scotland Yard during a troubling wave of murders across London. As bodies begin to pile up and witness testimonies fail to align, it becomes your responsibility to sort fact from fiction, uncover hidden clues, and identify the true culprit behind each crime.

Rather than relying on action or fast-paced gameplay, Case Solved focuses on careful observation, deduction, and critical thinking. Each investigation is structured as a closed logic puzzle, drawing inspiration from traditional Zebra puzzles that challenge players to connect clues and eliminate possibilities until only one solution remains.

Players will explore a stylized version of London while working through three handcrafted cases, each featuring its own cast of suspects, unique twists, and carefully constructed mysteries. Every location has been hand-drawn to reinforce the game’s distinctive visual style, creating a world that feels both mysterious and inviting.

The game embraces a unique “cozy noir” atmosphere that softens the darker elements typically associated with detective fiction. While players are investigating murder cases, the overall experience is intentionally relaxed, allowing them to work through each puzzle at their own pace. Warm lighting, charming hand-drawn environments, and a smooth jazz soundtrack help create an experience that feels more contemplative than stressful.

To solve each case, players must carefully interrogate suspects, collect witness statements, and identify inconsistencies within testimonies. Success depends on paying attention to details and spotting contradictions that others might overlook. The game encourages methodical thinking, rewarding players who take the time to examine every clue and piece together the bigger picture.
The developers cite classic 1960s detective stories as a major influence on the game’s design, and that inspiration is evident throughout the experience. Rather than allowing players to guess their way through investigations, Case Solved requires genuine detective work, pushing players to build logical conclusions from the evidence they uncover.

Key features include three unique murder investigations set across iconic London locations, closed logic puzzle gameplay inspired by traditional deduction challenges, hand-drawn artwork and character designs, a relaxing jazz soundtrack, and a cozy noir presentation that combines mystery with a laid-back pace.
With its combination of detective work, puzzle-solving, and atmospheric storytelling, Case Solved: The London Files is shaping up to be an appealing choice for players who enjoy thoughtful mysteries without the pressure often found in more intense crime dramas.

Case Solved: The London Files is scheduled to launch in 2026 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.
