The annual Six One Indie Showcase is making its return this month, bringing a massive lineup of indie titles to fans around the world. Organizer Six One Indie has confirmed that the 2026 edition of the event will stream on May 21 beginning at 8:50 AM PT / 11:50 AM ET.
The broadcast will be available across multiple platforms including IGN, GameSpot, and the official Six One Indie YouTube channel.
The presentation kicks off with Petey’s Play Now Pre-Show, highlighting five recently released indie games that may have flown under the radar. Following that segment, the main showcase begins at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET and features 56 additional titles. Altogether, the event will spotlight 61 indie games from developers and publishers across the globe.
This year’s lineup promises one of the most varied collections of games the showcase has presented so far. Viewers can expect a mix of genres ranging from survival horror and roguelikes to cozy experiences and experimental projects. The presentation will also include several developers appearing on screen to introduce their games and offer insights into their upcoming releases.
Once the showcase wraps up, viewers will be able to visit the official event website to explore previews of select titles featured during the broadcast. At the same time, the Six One Indie Showcase event page on Steam will go live, running through May 25. During that period, players will have the opportunity to wishlist upcoming titles, try demos, and purchase select games already available.
Since its debut in 2022, the Six One Indie Showcase has featured nearly 275 indie games from developers ranging from solo creators to international studios. What began as a small passion project has grown into a professionally produced event while continuing to maintain its mission of offering developers a free and accessible platform to present their work.
The 2026 showcase takes place on May 21, and fans of indie games will want to keep an eye on the broadcast to discover what’s next for the independent gaming scene.
