Developer Silent Lamb Studio has officially revealed Last Summer, a new asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience heading to PC via Steam. The game pits a group of vulnerable campers against a ruthless killer in a tense cat-and-mouse battle where survival is never guaranteed.
Set at the eerie Silent Lamb Camp, what begins as a carefree summer trip quickly spirals into a nightmare. A group of friends arrives ahead of the busy season, spending their nights drinking, laughing, and sharing ghost stories around the campfire. One story in particular—about a masked killer who arrives on a ghostly train and leaves nothing but bloodshed behind—soon proves to be far more than just a legend.
Hunt or Be Hunted
Last Summer is built around asymmetrical gameplay where players choose between two very different roles. One player becomes the killer, stalking the campgrounds and eliminating every victim they can find. The remaining players take on the role of campers who must work together, think quickly, and find a way to escape before it’s too late.
Multiple escape routes, unpredictable encounters, and a variety of survival strategies mean every match unfolds differently. The constant tension between hunters and survivors keeps players on edge from beginning to end.
Dynamic Systems and Customization
The game also features a variety of systems designed to keep each session fresh. Survivors come with unique stats that directly impact gameplay, creating meaningful differences between characters and playstyles. Players can also customize their survivor’s appearance using a dedicated character tool.
Campers can collect items, fight back against the killer, and coordinate their escape plans. Meanwhile, the killer can unleash brutal execution moves while relentlessly tracking down their prey.
Set within an original horror universe and shaped by community-driven design, Last Summer aims to deliver a new spin on the asymmetrical horror genre.
Players can watch the reveal trailer and wishlist Last Summer on Steam to follow development updates. One thing is certain: once the nightmare begins at Silent Lamb Camp, not everyone is leaving alive.
