Fans of the legendary horror franchise are getting a closer look at the nightmare to come. Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a brand-new developer diary for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the upcoming survival-horror action game set in the infamous Hellraiser universe. The title is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with a release planned later this year.

The new video features Doug Bradley—the iconic actor behind Pinhead—as the team explores how they’re translating the unsettling world of Hellraiser into an interactive experience. Developers discuss drawing inspiration from the franchise’s films, books, and comics while focusing on the core themes that made the series such a lasting force in horror.

Rather than simply retelling familiar stories, the team is aiming to capture the dark essence of the franchise while introducing new elements that push the universe in unexpected directions. Players will find themselves navigating a chilling narrative that blends brutal combat, supernatural powers, and psychological horror.

In the game, players descend into the depths of the underworld in a desperate attempt to rescue a loved one trapped in a realm of eternal torment. Along the way, they’ll confront the terrifying forces of Hell, including twisted cultists, monstrous creatures, and the sadistic Cenobites themselves. Survival will depend on mastering both conventional weapons and the supernatural abilities granted by the mysterious Genesis Configuration.

The puzzle box serves as a gateway between the human world and the nightmarish Labyrinth, unlocking powers that allow players to manipulate the battlefield and confront the horrors lurking within Hell’s domain.

For collectors, Boss Team Games is also offering two special Collector’s Editions of the game. These limited bundles will include a selection of officially licensed Hellraiser-themed collectibles created specifically for fans of the franchise.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is set to launch later in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Stay tuned for more updates as the descent into Hell draws closer.
