A new high fantasy roguelite is preparing to test your tactical instincts this spring. Developer Legacy Forge and publisher Numskull Games have confirmed that Valor of Man will arrive on PC via Steam on March 19, 2026.
Blending strategic, turn-based CRPG combat with roguelite replayability, Valor of Man puts decision-making front and center. Every run is built around smart positioning, careful planning, and discovering powerful party synergies that can mean the difference between victory and a wipe.

Build Your Party, Master the Board
Players assemble a squad of four heroes from a roster of twelve distinct classes, each branching into specialized subclasses. Whether you lean toward an archmage commanding destructive magic or an assassin striking from the shadows, team composition plays a critical role in survival.

Across each run, you’ll shape your build from a massive pool of more than 750 spells, attacks, items, and artifacts. Reactive enemies force you to adapt constantly, and no two encounters unfold quite the same way. Every move triggers a response, turning each battle into a layered tactical puzzle where thinking several turns ahead is essential.
The combat system is designed to reward mastery. Understanding enemy behavior, planning positioning, and sequencing abilities correctly will separate seasoned tacticians from the fallen.

Designed for Replayability
Replay value is at the heart of the experience. Battles take place on an evolving board inspired by tabletop design, ensuring that strategy shifts from run to run. With ten escalating difficulty levels, the game steadily raises the stakes, pushing players to refine their builds and sharpen their tactical awareness.
On day one, the full release will include a large selection of unlockable content, extensive build variety, and full controller support. Steam Deck compatibility is also confirmed, making it easy to take the adventure on the go.
Players eager to get an early taste can jump into the extended demo during Steam Next Fest, running from February 23 through March 2.
Are you planning to dive into Valor of Man at launch, or will you test your strategy skills in the demo first?
